Crux: How would you describe your personal style?
Kristen: I would describe my personal style as elegantly sensual. Ha! You like that! I like wearing some form of sexy without too much revealed. Sexy doesn’t have to be tight or even low neckline or short skirt; it is just what fits your body best. Wearing a bold accessory with a solid color dress, or slim fit jeans and comfy top to me is a nice balance of style. I love color but no more than two bold ones at one time, that’s why it’s great that Crux accessories come in a variety of colors. It allows me to throw on a pair of earrings or necklace and know I don’t have to over style my clothing.
Crux: What is your favorite accessory?
Kristen: My favorite accessory is my CruxNY Orange Casidy earrings. They spice up whatever I’m wearing to go from mediocre to one of the hottest ladies in the room. I get constant compliments whenever I wear them and who doesn’t love to be showered with compliments!
Crux:What was your most favorite item that you wore on your actual wedding day?
Kristen: My favorite item I wore on my wedding day was my dress as that is usually the show stopper. When else are you going to wear that much white! Although my dress was off-white not too look so starchy. My dress was inspired by over the top couture French style lots of ruffles and even some crystals.
Crux: What is your favorite piece from the current Crux Holiday Collection?
Kristen: The ESHE earrings worn by Solange in Beyonce’s “Party” Video are my favorite. They exactly compliment my current style which is chic with a slight conservative edge. They would go with almost all the colors in my closet and could be dressed up or down. Today’s style is all about versatility as we all stay on the go.
